While navigating the caffeine isle at the grocery store today my design-radar was set off by this lovely type based coffee packaging. I’m such a sucker for this stuff!!! It almost looks as if it was done on a letter press.

The coffee itself is smooth, kind of like starbucks breakfast blend.

Ugly Mug Coffee is designed by Young and Laramore.

And….the icing on the cake: even the little clip says ugly mug!!!

I found David Habben’s work via smashing magazines post about pop art. Although I disagree that his work is pop art (think Keith Harring), it is still inspiring none the less. As a graphic & web designer I can get so into doing everything on the computer. Davids work reminds me to experiment with other media on a regular basis.

Logos are probably the most difficult aspect of graphic design. You have to say so much with so little. Below are 9 logos that have caught my eye lately. Click on the logo for a link to the designers website. Enjoy!

My cell phone alarm wakes me up.

I stumble over to the coffee pot (which also doubles as an alarm clock and drink my lovely blend that my girlfriend brings home from the coffee shop that she works in.

Turn on my mac and make sure the internet is still there

Gota love my awesome logitech mouse. I’d go nuts without this thing.

After a stressful afternoon of work I was looking forward to my bike, but i was almost edged off the road by several inconsiderate drivers!

After getting home I jumped in the pool and we ordered pizza and beer!
