Very cool! The “Distribute Space” function is especially useful when your objects aren’t the same size but you want a uniform space between them. (Plain ol’ “Distribute” will distribute the center of the objects evenly, but if you’ve got major size differences, it’ll look weird.) Nice work!

Yup, Photoshop has the align tools also, but not the “space evenly” one.

Photshop has both the align tools and the distribute tools. They appear in the “options” palette while using the move tool.
I personally find them extremely helpful when making grid-based design mockups in Photoshop.

After selecting your obejects if you single leftclick on one (gives it a “fat” selection border in the process) and then align the objects will align to that particular item. This is useful for aliging new objects to exisiting artwork, aliging things to parts of the page, etc.
