I learned my vector art mostly on Macromedia Freehand, since the merger of Macromedia and Adobe (Or buy out, don’t know which one), I think adobe has refined some of the features. I still find myself going back to Freehand for those little changes though, I find it easier to use.

  2. makes me hungry ;)

  3. Thanks for the tips!

  4. Another great tip Niki, thanks. You’re right too. I know myself I sometimes forget about the pathfinder tools and find myself just using the pen tool, when instead, I could’ve easily created seperate objects and simply used the various pathfinder options. Keep up the great work.

  5. I’m very much a beginner with Illustrator and find all the various options very overwhelming so all your videos like this rock really much :D Thanks.

  6. Thanks so much for these video tips. This one I find particularly helpful as I’m the web developer and my fiance’s the artist. So many times I’m playing in illustrator trying to make something for a site design and I don’t want to bother him so it takes me a lot longer than it should!
