People transitioning from print to web will appreciate this quick tip. Today I’m going to show you a quick and easy way to add just a little bit of ‘flair’ to your paragraphs. Yes we are going to tango with our old friend the drop cap. Super easy to create in print media thanks to InDesign, but CSS has some selectors up its sleeve to help us out. *warning* this probably wont work in IE, but really who cares?

we are doing a huge redesign of the corporate site I manage and I will start to add a bunch of these types of progressive enhancement options. IE will be left out of a lot.

Nice little tip Niki. Are you using DW CS4 there? Nice that you can keep the “rendered” version visible while coding the CSS.
