Great tip. I have always wondered how to do this. Before I would have to open my DigitalColor Meter, write down the hex code, go to Photoshop and put it in, etc. This is so useful.

Nice! How would that work with Spaces, though? I always keep Photoshop in its own Space, and then i end up using DigitalColor Meter to get hex values for colors on the ‘net.

This one is a favorite of mine. Glad to see it’s spreading around. What I really want is for Dreamweaver to have a feature where if I type
color:in a css file, it would give me the option to eyedropper a color, and paste its hex value in automatically.February 12th, 2009 at 1:43 pm

Great tip. Before I was having to either save a selection of the image I wanted the color info on or use a FF extension to get the values. Now I just have to click it.
Thanks a lot!

Well, I’ve always thought there must be a way to use the dropper tool outside of Photoshop and now I know it !
Thanks a lot of those very useful little tips.
Keep them going.
