I’m sure that my graphic design readers out there have used online printers before. Quick turn around, great pricing, and good quality. Uprinting and Bizcard.com have given me the opportunity to give away some cool stuff on The Design O’ Blog. All you have to do is leave a comment and let me know which give away you want and why!

First up we have 500 free business cards from bizcard.com. They offer 3 different sizes of cards including square, slim, and regular sized cards. So who out there needs business cards? Leave a comment and tell me why you want them!

Next up we have 2 sets of 250 postcards to give away from Uprinting. I love well designed postcards! I tend to collect postcards i see laying around in coffee shops. If you want the postcards leave a comment and let me know what you will use them for!

Finally we have 18×24 canvas print. I have never had anything printed on canvas, but it would be really cool to see some illustrations or photos blown up and printed on canvas! If you want the canvas print leave a comment and tell me what you would print!
Do you have something to give away to my readers?
Perhaps there are other cool businesses out there that want to give away cool stuff to my readers? If so shoot me an email and let me know!
Winners will be randomly selected on Feb. 1!

I would love business cards. I have completely changed my life- went from mortgage exec with NICE salary to speaker and radio personality. I’m hanging on until I make it big and every bit helps. Want to hang on to this amazing vision and not go back to the ever present motivation- money…

I could certainly use either the business cards (I just did a redesign of my site and my current business cards don’t coordinate with the new look) or the postcards (which would be very useful for self-marketing for business, or as leave-behinds as I continue on my search for gainful employment).

I would *SO* love to have those postcards. I recently redesigned my portfolio because I am trying to make the jump into freelancing. This is obviously a momentous task but I highly despise retail and working for myself allows me much greater control over daily operations and my life in general. Besides, I come from a family of entrepreneurs so maybe that was going to happen anyway …
Gah, I’m rambling! Well, you already know what I want, make my freelance dreams happen!

We would love to use the postcards…We are releasing a new mountain bike film this spring called Freedom Riders at the Annual Sea Otter Cycling Classic. There are usually about 20,000 fans…
The cards would be a great way to promote the film while we are walking around the bike races…

Come to think of it we could use the Canvas Print just as much if you would rather give the post cards to the first response…

I want to start off the new year with some fab new business cards. I changed my telephone number and have not had time to update the ones I have. After following some tweets, I saw some really outstanding designs that inspired me to do something different. What a great offer! Glad I subscribed to your blog.

I could definitely use the business cards. I started my own freelance translation, copywriting, and editing company in December and the cheap business cards that I got made at the local printer were…well, cheap looking and ran out because I ordered only 250–that’s all I could afford to start with.
It would help me brand and communicate my little start up so much more professionally with professinal-looking (and free!) business cards!

I did some web work a while back and me getting 1,000 business cards was part of the original deal, needless to say, the deal fell through and I’ve been left without business cards for my freelance work. Free business cards would be great.

I would love to win the canvas print to check out the quality. I’d get a photograph printed, possibly from a trip last weekend where the cabin we stayed in had a creek running .under.the.house. it was very surreal.

Great competition Niki! I’d love the canvas, so I could have a photo from my travels printed on it. I’d put it on the wall above my desk to keep me motivated, and help me remember why I want to freelance and why I need to keep getting clients and work.
Whenever I get home from a trip I tend to slowly fall back into a routine and am scared to make the big change, but when I’m traveling it’s the best feeling ever, so I’d print a great shot from traveling in India and keep it on the wall as a reminder.

I would LOVE the printed canvas. My wife is an amazing high school theatre teacher, and I’m an amateur photographer. I would love the chance to blow up a photo I took of one of her shows (pictures seen at http://www.lindaletheatre.com) to give to her as a Valentine’s present.

I would love the postcards. Actually I would love any of the three! I just set up my website so my current cards don’t have it or my new email on it (so they are kinda moot). Postcards would be awesome b/c I have been wanting to get some anyway to get my name out there as a graphic designer. I too love a well designed awesome looking postcard (and here in New Orleans, they are everywhere!). Even the canvas print. It would be great to get some of my photography on a large scale to hang on my barren walls.
This is great, and very cool!

I have had a freelance studio for years and never had real business cards. I always went the inkjet route. Not the best, but funtional. I recently got my wallet wet from a water bottle in my sports bag just when a potential client wanted my card. I was so embarrased to give him blurred ink jet cards. Not good.
Sincerely,
Cardless in Seattle.

Postcards for me! I recently escaped from corporate America and started my own design company. I recently ordered business cards, but I’ve been wanting postcards to really target some specific businesses and firms which fit my ideal client profile or where I could market myself as an independent contractor. My money is running low, and clients are scarce, so anything I can use to help get more paying clients is great! Love the blog!

I would absolutely love to have the canvas print. I have recently started promoting my photography and have a show coming up in June. Taking the pictures is all that matters to me, but I think an audience appreciates actually seeing them printed! lol. A big canvas print would be awesome. Of course, I wouldn’t turn my nose up at having postcards for the show either.
Thanks for offering this opportunity.

I would love the business cards, because I am constantly working on new concepts to visually express the style of humor on my comedy site, http://listentoleon.net
My first ever card design for the site had angels and clouds like the Sistine Chapel and read “God’s Gift To Your Sense of Humor”, but people thought it was religious and were QUITE surprised once they saw the actual jokes on my site!
The second was a black card, with a white baseball cap tilted to the side, and a gold teeth in the shape of a grin. Younger folks loved it, but older people were scared away!
The design I have now is the parental advisory sticker, but it reads my site’s slogan “Yeah…I Said It!” All of the cards have the same back: a cutesy photo of me as a toddler, with the words “The funniest website ever! No, really! Would this face lie to you?”
I might keep the consistency of the toddler on the back but update it since I won some awards since the last batch of cards were printed…but as you can see, I’d love to try my hand at a new comedic design for the front of the card!

So I’m a wannabe designer trying to start a freelance design/writing business. I’m leaving my old job to do it, and I am in dire need of some killa business cards to get the word out on the street, you know? I think the number one reason I need these cards is to generate enough income to feed my thug money millionaire bulldog puppy Margot, whom I will be getting this Friday. She is a meaty dog full of love and fat rolls, and the girl needs a lot of snacks. So basically, it would be pretty awesome if I could snag some free business cards to make Margot the meatiest bulldog on the block. Kthxbye.

Me and my girlfriend love canvases! We’re obsessed! I mean scarily so! Every trip we go on we take a photo on purpose to get a canvas made. I guess it’s like you with bananas and coffee. Or vector mice. Or photoshopped squirrels. Or other people’s OSX docks. Really. We’re crazy about them! We’d love one so much! We need our fix! Niki…please…just one more canvas.
What would we put on it? Probably a picture of another canvas! We love them that much!

Hey Niki, great contest! I love your site (and Creattica) and read them both daily! : )
I would really love the free business cards — Every new year I make a list of 100 things I’d like to do in the coming year, and FINALLY getting my business cards printed is right up there at the top of the list!
My problem is that I recently made a big move from Iowa to Chicago hoping to find a fabulous design job … Which unfortunately has yet to happen.
I already have my cards designed, and I think having them to network with would greatly improve my chances. Now if only I could afford to get them printed … or make rent for that matter ; )
Anyways, it would really help me out — Thanks!
