It is concerning that the media is not mentioning what Steve is sick from, but i understand his want for privacy. It is quite a sad thing and he will certainly be in my prayers. Also the story above made me shed a bit of a tear. Lee, I am glad to hear that your wife is doing well and your words were kind and encouraging.

When my wife was going through kidney failure and was on dialysis with a tube in her stomach we had to do an exchange 4 times a day and sometimes in a public place. Restaurants in the airport helped us heat up the dialysate bag and we always asked people around us if they were ok with our having to do this. Everyone was always understanding and always someone said I will say a prayer for you. My wife survived and received her kidney/pancreas transplant. We will always remember the strangers who were so helpful and are thankful for their prayers. It works and we have been praying for Steve since we heard about him on the news. Thank you for encouraging others to do the same.
