Books and non-designer related magazine really help you 'get back to reality' so to speak. I got all caught up in the Twilight saga, and now I'm reading "The Host". Scifi stuff. I also love National Geographic and the O Magazine. After reading those, and getting a good nights sleep, I find the graphics part of my brain clear and fresh, like restarting a computer almost. There have been great advances in technology that brings everything easily to our fingertips but it is easy to get lost in all of that and forget our original means for communication and for sharing our opinions.
