I think you mean revert to no technology at all :) I do agree though. There have been great advances in technology that brings everything easily to our fingertips but it is easy to get lost in all of that and forget our original means for communication and for sharing our opinions. I support your “read a book” movement and will do so tonight.

  2. I read a lot (3-4 books a week) but don’t get away from technology to do it lol. To save space I don’t buy many print books anymore. I buy ebooks and either read on my computer or on my sony reader.

  3. I totally agree, Niki! Books and non-designer related magazine really help you ‘get back to reality’ so to speak. I got all caught up in the Twilight saga, and now I’m reading “The Host”. Scifi stuff. I also love National Geographic and the O Magazine. After reading those, and getting a good nights sleep, I find the graphics part of my brain clear and fresh, like restarting a computer almost.

    Thanks for the great tips!

  4. I read about 4 books a month. One of my books right now is about setting up a blog in wordpress. I even read software documentation..it’s great if you have insomnia.
