*Please pardon the un-styled mess why I am rethinking and re-designing my blog!*

I got a chance to virtually sit down with Adelle Charles who runs the graphic design blog Fuel Your Creativity this week. She shares her insights and thoughts on fonts, design inspiration and bananas.
Enjoy!
1) Do you like bananas?
I prefer organic bananas.
2) Favorite Pantone (and or) hex color?
#AE0909
3) How did you get your start as a designer?
My brother got the superhero genes
4) What do you like least about your job?
From my day job – the politics and micro-managing.
For the freelance stuff I dislike the business aspect of it all.
5) What prompted you to start fuel your creativity blog?
I wanted to put together a site where creatives of all kinds could meet, trade ideas and learn something.
6) Who are some of the designers you look up to? (can be past or present designers)
Jason Santa Maria has been a huge inspiration to me. I love the simplicity of his designs. James White is awesome too. I like his retro looking designs.
7) If you were stranded on a desert island with 1 font for the rest of your life which one would it be and why?
Georgia because it’s very versatile. I <heart> Serifs.
Where do you look for inspiration outside of the interwebs?
I usually go to Barnes and Noble and sit there for a couple of hours and look through all of the Web magazines. My favorite is .Net. I drive around a lot to.
9) Any advice to young designers?
Eat your bananas.
10) What are your goals/aspirations for your future as a designer?
I would like to continue the Fuel Brand sites and build up the network, that is my biggest focus right now. Currently the Fuel Brand Group has a lot of sites in development.
I also want to run my own company where I act as a type of liaison when it comes to hooking clients up with my team of freelance creatives like writers, designers, illustrators, animators, etc.
Do you have something interesting to say? Or perhaps you have an idea or suggestion on who you interview.

Great interview, both of you! I prefer plastic bananas — regular ones are too mushy LOL. I can definitely relate to driving for inspiration. Most of my best ideas come when I driving an hour home from work every night.

Those are great. I particularly like the random banana question as a starter. My question is this… what’s the last thing she downloaded… that’s always quite telling
