*Please pardon the un-styled mess why I am rethinking and re-designing my blog!*

Time is always a critical matter when designing for clients and sometimes you need to outsource work. There are tons of PSD to HTML conversion services out there – so how do you go about picking one? You We You Coding is an advertiser on my blog (take a look over to the right) We needed a template coded at Brunello so we decided to give them a try.
Erik of You We You Coding did a great job coding our template with speed and efficiency. The whole process took about 2 days from the initial order to revisions and changes. Erik was quick to respond to our emails about changes and made them quickly.

The code validated as XHTML 1.0 Transitional, and the css had a few errors: ( Property opacity doesn’t exist in CSS level 2.1 but exists in [css3] : 0.5 – probably something with the jquery slider ) but nothing that prevented the page from rendering correctly. The design looked great in all the major browsers as well.
The only thing I would have done differently with the code would be to use ID’s instead of CLASS on all of the non repeating divs on the page – but that’s probably just a coding style/preference.
You we you charges $79 for PSD to XHTML and $39 for subpages. If you need PSD to WordPress services the rate is $99 for a main page and $59 for a subpages. If you are in the market for PSD to HTML services definitely give You We You Coding a try.
Leave a comment and let me know your experiences with PSD to HTML services. Thanks!

I would also use an unordered list to code the pagination instead of using a div.

Hey Niki!
I designed http://www.yodiv.com for us (OcVision.com), as a passive source of income. As well as our main clients, we supplement the ‘down time’ by investing in a little pay per click campaign when we need it. Kinda like switching it on or off.
Its been great for us, and currently the divlets have made allot of people happy.
Was also a great excuse to have fun with some illustration. When we put YoDiv out there, we were one of around 20-30 sites i could find – since then the numbers are now in the hundreds.
Although as far as im aware, YoDiv is still currently the only slicing service that has its own RoR back end client area. We use this to manage all our projects and communicate with our clients, as well as handling site payments.
The divlets are also behind http://www.divvoted.com
Keep up the good work Nik!

Their pricing scheme kind of disturbs me. In fact this whole business model kind of disturbs me. I really wonder how they make any money with such low fees charged — at any volume of work that doesn’t seem like it would even be worth it.

If someone is looking for another quality service provider then he/she can look forXhtml.Pixelcrayons
Their basic package starts at $99 and turn around time is 8hrs, though complexity of the project matters a lot.
