Most wine is bought by the label design. The label must not be damaged in any way.

Most wine is bought by the female member of the household.

Most wine bought is around $8 a bottle.

Above information was given to me by a viticulture professor who researches wine sales.

France, good wine but old musty labels, is in the midst of a rethinking of its labels. The Australians, then the Americans started messing with labels which has hit the French producers hard. France could have some incredible designs as French design as gotten quite good. Some examples:

Excepting the Blind and the Frank one which are classics and innovative, every other is bullshit. Volute one is absolutly boring.

Remember than inside the bottle there is wine, and it’s this quality which is important.
The rest is only a shit in a shit-paper, sold by saying “we know that is shit, but you’ll love it”.
