There much deliberation before I realized that I don’t have a pair of shoes so favorite that I would choose to wear them every day if I could. Because I like my feet. Design in nature is far more interesting in its utilitarian..ness than couture. And it’s just so complex! The feet aren’t nylon over fabric over rubber, they are skin over tendons over muscle over bone, and they’re warm and moving and changing. [...]
