*Please pardon the un-styled mess why I am rethinking and re-designing my blog!*

Wine Fest

The estimated time to read this article is less than a minute

While obtaining my delicious morning coffee, a very stylized poster caught my eye. So I quickly snapped a pic of it:

Wine Fest

I knew I had seen this style before but could not quite put my finger on it. When I was in college (and it was sooo long ago…) I had to write a paper about a famous poster in order to get into the graphic design program at Iowa State.  I was assigned to write about a poster designed by Adolphe Mouron Cassandre. This is where I had seen this style!

I remember falling in love with Cassandre’s strong geometric illustrations and strong rounded lines!!!

Its interesting how a stylistic approach, or even a typeface can take me back to a specific time and place in my life!

I agree, this does resemble Cassandre’s style. It also looks very similar to this Spanish wine poster….
